- Result
- 21.7 × ₹378 ≈ ₹8,200
Airlines charge for the bigger of two weights: the real weight (18.4 kg) or the weight for the space the box takes up (21.7 kg). We use 21.7 kg. Xeliport works this out for you.
Other ₹650 = fuel surcharge ₹400 + destination handling ₹250. Compliance covers preparing the border papers. Partner fees are what Acme charges.
These numbers are made up for the demo. Real ones would come from Xeliport's price lists.

Design notes
Each note shows the old problem, what I changed, and why. The new behaviour is a concept with made-up data, not a claim about how Xeliport works inside.
1. Compliance tasks
- Problem
- "7 of 10 done" doesn't say what is missing, so people search many pages.
- Decision
- Show the exact paper, who must do it, the deadline, why, and one button.
- Why
- One screen answers "what do I do?"
- Tesler's Law
- The system tracks all the tasks and who owns them. The user just sees one clear action.
2. Connected brand and partner data
- Problem
- When brand and partner data are separate, people type things twice and details don't match.
- Decision
- Link brand → product → partner → shipment → paperwork, and show partner facts inside the shipment.
- Why
- Type once, see it where you need it.
- Tesler's Law
- The system makes sure both sides match.
3. Shipment delays
- Problem
- "Delayed" doesn't say why, who must act, or what's next, so people call support.
- Decision
- Show how late, where it's stuck, why, who must act, what's next, and a Message partner button.
- Why
- The user knows whether to act or just wait.
- Tesler's Law
- The system turns border-officer updates into plain words and names who must act.
4. Cost explanation
- Problem
- A total with lots of maths is confusing.
- Decision
- Show four lines first. "Why this cost?" opens the maths.
- Why
- Most people only need the total. Anyone curious can check.
- Tesler's Law
- The system does the weight, price and extra-fee maths.
5. Partner information
- Problem
- A partner's name alone doesn't help you choose.
- Decision
- Only five facts: where they deliver, what they handle, how fast, if they're free, how often on time.
- Why
- Each fact helps a decision. Everything else was left out.
- Tesler's Law
- The system works out speed and availability from past shipments.
What I would build next
- Try it with 5–10 brand users: can they say what to do next without help?
- Find out which paperwork details people really need.
- Check what Xeliport's systems must provide so tasks get owners automatically.
- Connect status to real shipment updates.
- Write down the cost rules and unusual cases.
- Measure how many tasks get finished and how fast.
